COASTAL GOSE 2018

Few places embody the wild spirit of the Pacific Northwest like the Oregon Coast. To help protect this venerated landscape, we’ve partnered with the Portland Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation on our Coastal Gose blend. This interpretation of the historic Gose beer features sour wheat ales aged in oak barrels with ground coriander seed and sea salt harvested from Oregon’s coastal waters. By donating a portion of the profits from each bottle sold, we are committed to helping the Portland Surfrider Chapter protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waves and beaches––one beer at a time. 7.3% ABV

PISTIL WHIPPED 2018

Pistil Whipped is a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels with late infusions of saffron and chamomile. Pouring a rich golden-yellow from the saffron’s distinct color, this unique botanical blend captures saffron’s earthy, hay-like spice character with gentle floral and honey notes from the chamomile tea. 7.7% ABV

CHÊNE DES FOUS

Made in collaboration with our friends at Burial Beer Company in Asheville, NC, Chêne des Fous (shen de-FOO), meaning “Oak of the Fools,” is a blend of sour triple ales aged for up to 18 months in French oak barrels with dried sumac, fresh apricots and toasted American oak chains. Intense oak flavors are met with savory lemon and dried fruit notes from the sumac and a subtle stone fruit aroma. 8.4% ABV

HONEYCOT

Introducing our most recent rendition of this limited fan favorite, Honeycot is a blend of blond ales aged for 16 months on fresh apricots with a late addition of honey from Portland’s own Bee Local. Honeycot features flavors of apricot preserves, honeysuckle flowers and raw honeycomb with a light honey sweetness and brilliant lactic acidity. 7.3% ABV

FRAMBLANC 2017

A blend of sour blond ales aged for up to 14 months in oak wine barrels with more than 3,500 pounds of white raspberries. Fresh flavors of raspberries, green grapes, white peaches and pears earned Framblanc the gold medal at the 2017 Oregon Beer Awards. 8.4% ABV

BRUNCH LINE

Brunch lines are as much an institution as brunch itself in Portland, so we made a beer dedicated to the rain-soaked hordes of brunch-goers who patiently stand in line for their weekend fare. Inspired by the mimosa cocktail, Brunch Line features sour wheat and blond ales aged in white wine barrels for up to two years with Willamette Valley-grown Chardonnay grapes, then infused with fresh orange zest. 9.6% ABV

CORAL HORIZON

Coral Horizon is a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 16 months with late infusions of grapefruit zest, hibiscus tea and freshly chopped ginger root. Pouring a brilliant coral-red hue reminiscent of a summer sunset, this small batch blend offers a soft, approachable acidity level with aromas of ruby red grapefruit and a refreshing ginger spice. 8% ABV

GARDEN PARTY 2017

Garden Party is a blend of sour blond and wheat ales aged in white wine barrels for up to two years with Willamette Valley-grown chardonnay grapes followed by a late infusion of fresh Meyer lemon zest and dried elderflowers. The perfect beverage for any outdoor soirée, Garden Party delivers the sparkle of champagne, the floral delicacy of elderflowers and the brilliance of sweet lemon zest—bringing refinement and refreshment to your party, wherever it may be. 9.8% ABV

KRIEK 2017

A blend of sour red ales aged up to 17 months in red wine barrels with Bing and sour pie cherries. 7.7% ABV

BELMONT STREET BRAMBLE

Named in tribute to our Barrel House pub on Belmont Street in Southeast Portland, we are pleased to release Belmont Street Bramble, a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to two years with red raspberries and tangerine peel. Crisp and refreshing, Belmont Street Bramble offers intense raspberry flavor with a hint of citrus, making it the perfect summer sour sipper. 6.5% ABV

SANG ROUGE 2015

Sang Rouge is a blend of sour red ales aged in select red wine barrels and oak puncheons for up to 24 months. Highlighting the depth and complexity of our base red ale without the influence of additional fruits or spices, Sang Rouge serves as the foundation of our “Sang” series. This rare project features notes of roasted malts, dried currants, aged red wine and toasted oak. 7.8% ABV

SANG DU CHÊNE 2017

Sang du Chêne, meaning “blood of the oak,” showcases sour blond and triple ales aged in three distinct oak vessels: toasted French and American oak puncheons, Cognac brandy hogsheads and aged wine foudres. Oak influences are the highlight, providing flavors of toasted sugars, vanillin and spice that are complemented by the bright acidity and fruity character of the base beers. The 2017 Sang du Chêne captures the marriage of wood and beer at its finest! 9.7% ABV

VLAD THE IMP ALER 2017

Behold the return of Vlad the Imp Aler, one of the most iconic projects in our 20-year history of brewing and blending sour beer. A combination of quad and blond ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with orange peel and coriander, Vlad delivers a fresh acidity and light malt sweetness with notes of bourbon, citrus and spice.
ABV: 11.6%

CUVEE DU JONGLEUR 2017

Originally released in 2008, Cuvée du Jongleur, or “Blend of the Juggler,” consists of select red, triple and quad sour ales aged in oak barrels for up to three years. Making its first appearance in over a decade, the 2017 project pays homage to the original blend, juggling a variety of base beers that offer clean and complex flavors through the lactic fermentation process that has come to define our Northwest Sour Ales. 9.4% ABV

SANG ROYAL 2016

A blend of double red ales aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 22 months with Pinot Noir grapes from Oregon’s famed Willamette Valley wine region. The most regal in our series of “Sang” projects, Sang Royal captures complex notes of summer berry fruit, plum, oak and spice, with a vibrant acidity and soft tannic structure. 9.4% ABV

HARVEST GRAFF 2018

To celebrate the harvest season, we are excited to offer our
interpretation of “graff,” a relatively obscure beer-cider hyrbrid.
Harvest Graff is a blend of sour blond and red ales aged in wine
and bourbon barrels for up to two years, then naturally fermented
with raw juice from Northwest-grown apples and lightly infused
with a blend of spices. 8.8% ABV

BOURBONIC PLAGUE 2016 ANNIVERSARY EDITION

This beer was made to celebrate Cascade Brewing’s 20th anniversary. A blend of sour imperial porters aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with dates, cinnamon, vanilla and orange peel, this limited blend marks 20 extraordinary years of brewing, blending and sharing beer.

PORTLAND ALE

Our Blond Ale is brewed with flavorful German Pilsner malt and Northern Brewer hops resulting in a balanced and approachable craft beer. 19 IBU / 4.9% ABV

TOUCHDOWN DANCE

Celebrate without being in the end zone with this pale ale! Simcoe and Azacca hops lend tropical, ripe mango and guava notes over a quaffable malt base. Don’t spike the glass! 4.4% ABV / 20 IBU

FRESH WISHES

This fresh hop IPA features Citra hops from Sodbuster Farms in Salem, Oregon. Aromas of melon, lychee, and orange peel and flavors of tropical fruit and resin. 6.3% / 45 IBU

WHAT ABOUT LOVE?

This Imperial IPA was built around Cashmere, Rakau, and Simcoe hops. Flavors and aromas of Pineapple, tropical fruit, melon, and citrus aroma are showcased in this beer. 9.28% / 66 IBU

BREWS OF A FEATHER

This coffee beer is a celebration of two different types of “brew.” The addition of more than a gallon per barrel of Stumptown Coffee Roasters’ Holler Mountain cold brew, organic cacao nibs and vanilla beans is our way of enjoying two of our favorite products. Close your eyes, smell the coffee, lemon peel, and the notes of vanilla, and enjoy this serving as if it was the first of your day! 6.1 % ABV 20 IBU

BOURBON GINGER QUAD

This week’s live barrel is a sour spiced quad ale aged in a single oak bourbon barrel for two years with a late infusion of fresh ginger. Bourbon Ginger Quad highlights the delicate intricacies of our spiced quad and bourbon barrel aging with the addition of a refreshing ginger flavor and layers of bourbon oak notes in the finish. 10% ABV / Tapped on Tuesday 10/15/19 @ 6PM

FUNKY FRESH-HOP: CITRA

We’re very excited to roll out our fourth year of the Funky Fresh-Hop series featuring single variety fresh hops infused into our barrel-aged sour blond ale. Within hours of picking, we transport the hops from the field to our Blending House facility, where the hops are immediately added to our beer and held for 48-72 hours before packaging. Flavors both funky and fresh combine in these extremely limited seasonal offerings. 7.1% ABV

CASUAL FRIDAY

Sour Hazy IPA, made by blending Cascade sour blond and experimental bret blond with Trap Door’s Hazy IPA hopped with Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin and El Dorado hops. 6.6% ABV

CRAZY NAVEL 2016

Crazy Navel is a blend of sour wheat and blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for 14 months with fresh orange zest. Using both Cara Cara and Heirloom varietals, Crazy Navel captures the essence of the navel orange balanced with a refreshingly tart and dry base beer. – 7.6% ABV

BEAN TO BARREL

A collaboration project made with Mikkeller, Bean-to-Barrel Triple features a blend of barrel and foudre aged sour triple ales with toasted Oregon and French oak and a late infusion of cocoa nibs sourced from Bean Geeks Craft Chocolate in Copenhagen. Celebrating Bean Geeks’ “bean-to-bar” chocolate-making methods, Bean-to-Barrel Triple offers aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak sugars combined with the light pear and citrus fruit notes of the sour triple. 9.4% ABV

MULLED APPLE SOUR

Mulled Apple Sour is a Fall seasonal blend of blond and red ales aged in oak wine barrels for 14 months with vanilla bean and spices, then sweetened with fresh apple cider and honey. Served hot, this fall offering features flavors of mulled cider, apple pie and warm baking spices. Served hot. 7.1% ABV

WILD WAREHOUSE - WANDER BREWING

A Belgian Saison barrel aged in French oak Chardonnay barrels from Chatter Creek Winery. Spiced with Slovenian and British hops. This beer won Gold at GABF in 2015 and Bronze at the World Beer Cup in 2016, both for Wood & Barrel Aged beer.

RACK & CLOTH - PERRY

All real Perry pears were ground and cold-soaked for 3 weeks in the Fall. A true wild ferment ensued. Half went in steel, half in oak. They were blended back together after a long pear-nosed, slightly Brett-y finish.6.9% ABV

2018 NORMA PINOT BLANC

Aromas of tropical white flowers that intertwine with hints of honeysuckle, apples, and citrus that evolve into a creamy texture. This wine exhibits a soft texture and intensity of fruit that is tensioned nicely with vibrant acidity.

DUCK POND PINOT NOIR

GROUND BREAKER IPA NO. 5

IPA No. 5 is brewed with roasted chestnuts, roasted lentils, and Belgian-style candi sugar. Crystal and Santiam hops are used during the boil and for dry-hopping. Crystal hops bring the classic Northwest IPA pine and citrus notes while Santiam adds hints of tropical and stone fruits. Available in a can.
