Vitis Noble, meaning noble vine, features sour wheat & blond ales aged in oak barrels for up to 16 months with Willamette Valley grown chardonnay grapes, one of the most celebrated. 9.1% ABV

CRANBERRY 2016

This NW sour ale is a blend of wheat ales that were aged in oak wine barrels for up to 14 months with cranberries, orange peel and cinnamon. Using cranberries grown along the Oregon coast, the 2016 blend offers brilliant cranberry fruit flavor with soft spice notes that offer refreshment through every season of the year. 6.6% ABV

PISTIL WHIPPED 2018

Pistil Whipped is a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels with late infusions of saffron and chamomile. Pouring a rich golden-yellow from the saffron’s distinct color, this unique botanical blend captures saffron’s earthy, hay-like spice character with gentle floral and honey notes from the chamomile tea. 7.7% ABV

APRICOT 2017

This Northwest sour ale is a blend of blond ales that were aged in oak wine barrels for up to 14 months with more than 13,000 pounds of fresh apricots from the Pacific Northwest. A flagship project in Cascade Brewing’s sour beer portfolio, Apricot offers flavors of fresh and dried apricot fruit complimented by a tart acidity and lingering notes of apricot preserves. 7.3% ABV

BRUNCH LINE

Brunch lines are as much an institution as brunch itself in Portland, so we made a beer dedicated to the rain-soaked hordes of brunch-goers who patiently stand in line for their weekend fare. Inspired by the mimosa cocktail, Brunch Line features sour wheat and blond ales aged in white wine barrels for up to two years with Willamette Valley-grown Chardonnay grapes, then infused with fresh orange zest. 9.6% ABV

CORAL HORIZON

Coral Horizon is a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 16 months with late infusions of grapefruit zest, hibiscus tea and freshly chopped ginger root. Pouring a brilliant coral-red hue reminiscent of a summer sunset, this small batch blend offers a soft, approachable acidity level with aromas of ruby red grapefruit and a refreshing ginger spice. 8% ABV

ONE WAY OR ANOTHER 2017

Based on a collaboration recipe originally designed with our friends at Bruery Terreux®, the 2017 One Way Or Another combines whole, Northwest-grown marionberries and Meyer lemon zest with sour blond ale aged in oak barrels for up to 16 months. The finished blend captures notes of blackberry pastry, fresh citrus and spruce tips with a lively acidity and dry finish. 7.7% ABV

HONEY GINGER LIME

This easy-drinking Northwest sour ale features a spiced rye base beer aged in oak wine barrels with candied ginger and lime peel followed by a late addition of fresh ginger, lime and wildflower honey. Lightly sour with a kiss of honey sweetness, the Cascade H.G.L. offers the perfect balance between complexity and refreshment. 6.8% ABV

TROPICAL EMBERS 2018

A blend made in partnership with our friends at Beachwood Blendery, Tropical Embers features sour wheat ale brewed with smoked malt—a tribute to Beachwood’s reputation for renowned BBQ—then aged in oak barrels for up to 18 months with additions of whole pineapple and mango. This limited collaboration project offers a unique combination of wood smoke aroma and tropical fruit flavor. 7.3% ABV

SANG DU CHÊNE 2017

Sang du Chêne, meaning “blood of the oak,” showcases sour blond and triple ales aged in three distinct oak vessels: toasted French and American oak puncheons, Cognac brandy hogsheads and aged wine foudres. Oak influences are the highlight, providing flavors of toasted sugars, vanillin and spice that are complemented by the bright acidity and fruity character of the base beers. The 2017 Sang du Chêne captures the marriage of wood and beer at its finest! 9.7% ABV

VLAD THE IMP ALER 2017

Behold the return of Vlad the Imp Aler, one of the most iconic projects in our 20-year history of brewing and blending sour beer. A combination of quad and blond ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with orange peel and coriander, Vlad delivers a fresh acidity and light malt sweetness with notes of bourbon, citrus and spice.

CUVEE DU JONGLEUR 2017

Originally released in 2008, Cuvée du Jongleur, or “Blend of the Juggler,” consists of select red, triple and quad sour ales aged in oak barrels for up to three years. Making its first appearance in over a decade, the 2017 project pays homage to the original blend, juggling a variety of base beers that offer clean and complex flavors through the lactic fermentation process that has come to define our Northwest Sour Ales. 9.4% ABV

SANG ROUGE 2015

Sang Rouge is a blend of sour red ales aged in select red wine barrels and oak puncheons for up to 24 months. Highlighting the depth and complexity of our base red ale without the influence of additional fruits or spices, Sang Rouge serves as the foundation of our “Sang” series. This rare project features notes of roasted malts, dried currants, aged red wine and toasted oak. 7.8% ABV

SANG ROYAL 2016

A blend of double red ales aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 22 months with Pinot Noir grapes from Oregon’s famed Willamette Valley wine region. The most regal in our series of “Sang” projects, Sang Royal captures complex notes of summer berry fruit, plum, oak and spice, with a vibrant acidity and soft tannic structure. 9.4% ABV

HARVEST GRAFF 2018

To celebrate the harvest season, we are excited to offer our
interpretation of “graff,” a relatively obscure beer-cider hyrbrid.
Harvest Graff is a blend of sour blond and red ales aged in wine
and bourbon barrels for up to two years, then naturally fermented
with raw juice from Northwest-grown apples and lightly infused
with a blend of spices. 8.8% ABV

BOURBONIC PLAGUE 2017

An outbreak of “the Plague” is upon us with this 2017 release! Bourbonic Plague features sour imperial porters aged in Bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with additions of dates, vanilla beans, orange peel and cinnamon. This contagiously complex and incurably enigmatic blend continues to represent the pinnacle of our craft at Cascade Brewing. 11.1% ABV

Our Blond Ale is brewed with flavorful German Pilsner malt and Northern Brewer hops resulting in a balanced and approachable craft beer. 19 IBU / 4.9% ABV

OCEAN VIEWS

Enjoy a first-class ticket to a tropical place––metaphorically speaking. El Dorado, Cascade & Ekuanot hops create this tropical hazy pale with notes of pineapple and citrus. 5.3% ABV / 36 IBU

WHAT ABOUT LOVE

This Imperial IPA was built around Cashmere, Rakau, and Simcoe hops. Flavors and aromas of Pineapple, tropical fruit, melon, and citrus aroma are showcased in this beer. 9.28% ABV / 66 IBU

BREWS OF A FEATHER

This coffee beer is a celebration of two different types of “brew.” The addition of more than a gallon per barrel of Stumptown Coffee Roasters’ Holler Mountain cold brew, organic cacao nibs and vanilla beans is our way of enjoying two of our favorite products. Close your eyes, smell the coffee, lemon peel, and the notes of vanilla, and enjoy this serving as if it was the first of your day! 6.1 % ABV 20 IBU

DIESEL 2018

This Imperial Stout was aged for up to seven months in Heaven Hill bourbon and Pinot barrels, with vanilla beans added during cold conditioning, resulting in a decadent cornucopia of flavors and aromas – including dark chocolate, vanilla and licorice – with bourbon soaked dark fruit and tobacco undertones. 10.5% ABV / 50 IBU

ODD BRUIN

This week’s live barrel is our take on an Oud Bruin. Odd Bruin features a blend of sour imperial spiced porter, cherry wood smoked wheat and red ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 18 months. This medium-bodied and malt forward beer brings a touch of sweetness and smoke to the glass, good for those cold and dark late fall days. 8.5% ABV

CERISE NOUVEAU 2018

To commemorate France’s Beaujolais Nouveau Day held this year on November 15th, we are pleased to release our Cerise Nouveau 2018 blend, a lightly-carbonated blend of sour red ales aged in Pinot Noir barrels for nine months before adding fresh Bing cherries and aging for an additional four months. Like a classic Beaujolais wine, Cerise Nouveau exudes aromas of fresh cherries, dark summer fruits and gamay grapes. A bientôt! 8.8% ABV

WATERMELON GOSE

Watermelon Gose is a blend of wheat ales aged in neutral oak barrels for up to 7 months with late infusions of hibiscus, Oregon coast sea salt and fresh watermelon from Hermiston, Oregon. 4.5% ABV

IT'S A GIRL

Cascade Brewing’s Artist-in-Residence Kirsten and Rogue Ales Innovation Brewer Danny came together for the ultimate brewing collaboration: It’s A Girl!
Rebel Rose Connors was born May 14th and we made a beer to celebrate it. This started with a brut pils brewed with Cascade hops. Then blended with 20% of a Cascade blonde aged on grapefruit zest, and finally dry-hopped with Huell Melon hops. The unique blend starts with a refreshing citrus kick, and finishes with some nice mellow fruitiness. 7% ABV

BOURBONIC PLAGUE 2013

This rarely released project features spiced double Porters aged in bourbon barrels for up to two years with dates, vanilla beans and cinnamon. Decadent flavors of bourbon, roasted malts, dried dark fruits, vanilla and spice are what makes the Bourbonic Plague project a GABF gold medal winner.
